Technology effects the presidential election in a lot of ways. For example when the presidents do their speech some people cut some parts and make a video that can make it seem that the president says bad things. Also people take things to literal. Memes are pictures that have words in on to make the picture funny. The pictures are suppose to be funny but sometimes people take it too far. Also some are really unnecessary. Like some pictures have racists quotes and some make fun of people. But they're very popular and used a lot on Instagram which pretty much everyone in the world has one.
